I grew up in Chicago area and went to Grace College and Seminary in Northern Indiana, where I found my wife and earned an MA degree in Biblical Counseling. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful woman named Zerrin (Turkish for: Golden Sunshine.) She is a great delight who provides significant support to me. Together we have three children who love life and God as we do. We are very blessed by each one of them.
After Graduate School, my wife and I moved to McPherson, KS where we started a Christian Counseling Center. Several years later we moved the counseling center to Wichita, KS where I had the opportunity to guide many people through the challenges and difficulties in life, and began focusing on Christian Marriage Counseling.
From 1991 to 2005, I was on staff as the resident Counselor at The Vineyard Church in Wichita, KS.
As of June 1, 2005 I began a counseling ministry called True Life Marriage and Family Counseling. I have a private practice of Christian marriage and family counseling and marriage coaching. My wife and I also teach marriage conferences, training people in PLEDGEtalk – a how to for resolving conflict and bettering communication.
I love going on walks with my wife, spending time with my kids, taking vacations, reading, writing, and periodically doing wild and crazy things like jumping out of airplanes!
